Over the years, several works have been published on this subject, with emphasis on the brochure "Geothermal Resources in Mainland Portugal - low enthalpy", published in 1998, under the responsibility of the Division of Hydrogeological and Geothermal Resources of the Geological and Mining Institute. The brochure "Geothermal - Renewable Energy in Portugal", published in 2017, prepared by DSRHG (Directorate of Services of Hydrogeological and Geothermal Resources) with the collaboration of DEIR (Division of Studies, Research and Renewables) and DSEE (Directorate of Services of Electric Energy) of DGEG. And the publication "Assessment of the Potential for Exploitation of Hydro-mineral and Geothermal Resources and their Use for Temperatures Above 25ºC", edited in 2021, developed by Synege and financed by FAI.
