TdB Auction

The Decree Decree-Law no. 8/2021, of January 20, made the fourth amendment to Decree-Law no. 117/2010, of October 25, amended by Decree-Laws no. 6/2012, of January 17, 69/2016, of November 3, and 152-C/2017, of December 11, having given a new wording to paragraph 1 of article 24 of Decree-Law no. 117/2010:

“Failure to comply with the obligations to present the TdB as proof of the incorporation of biofuels under the terms of paragraph 2 of article 11 and of article 13 determines the payment of compensation, for each missing TdB, in the amount corresponding to two times the highest value of the TdB bid, in the set of the last three auctions held by the DGEG"

 

Pursuant to article 19 of Decree-Law no. 117/2010, of October 25, in its initial wording, between the years 2013 and 2017, five TdB Auctions were held by the DGEG corresponding to biofuels subject to exemption from ISP introduced for consumption by small dedicated biofuel producers (PPD), with the proceeds from these auctions reverted to the Energy Efficiency Fund:

To date, the highest value of TdB bid, in the group of the last three auctions carried out by the DGEG, was €599.00/TdB.
